The Raven Prince (Princes Trilogy, #1)

Such a beautiful story...A very satisfying read...

I decided to read this book for two reasons
1. Longtime for me not read Historical Romance (HR) and
2. My friends @Goodreads (GR) recommended this book and series , especially my beloved friend http://www.goodreads.com/lelyanataufik.

This story about Anna Wren a young widow is hired to be secretary of Edward the Earl by his steward. But in 1700 's woman not hired as secretaries. When the funds her late husband left behind could not support her and her mother-in-law anymore, she decides to do the worst possible thing that a woman could do back then - to seek employment. Being secretary to the man is not the easiest job in the world, and to make things worst, Anna realize that she is falling in love with the Earl.

Edward got an engagement lined up, but needs to quell those urges so he's off to a brothel. Anna finds out and meets him there in disguise...because she's pretty sure that it's okay for woman to have needs too and she hasn't felt the touch of a man for seven years. Anna been widowed for six. Anna decides to meet Edward in secret with a mask on in London at brothel house.

Their 'encounters'so HOT, and, then it's a journey to fun, madness, some anger, frustrations. I really liked the romance between these two. It starts out slow and then builds until the heat between these two is almost unbearable.

At the beginning of each chapter, exerpts from the fairy tale "The Raven Prince" are really sweet and make this story all the more endearing.

And the most I loved how he kept telling her she was marrying him even when she kept saying no.

This my first Elizabeth Hoyt books, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this trilogy and beyond.
